To celebrate me having a totally empty editing pile for the first time in months, and to ease me into the two years of blogging backlog I now have no excuse not to make a start on, here is a blog post that's been an idea nugget in my head for a while. THE VEIL. Endless drama, lols, and frustrated veil wrangling has ensued. Many a veil has been discarded, stuffed into a bridesmaids purse. Sometimes the wind has not come to the party and I have employed a member of the bridal party to 'be the wind' as I like to put it. Whatever traditional use a veil once had has long been surpassed by it's use as a wedding fashion statement, combined with the windiest city in the world, it is a brave choice for a bride to make.
