Maternity Portraits can be something you really, really want to have taken, but are also feeling very vulnerable about. It's a lot to show up in front of a camera and have your pregnant body documented.

Pregnancy is quite often not how you dreamed it to be, and your body can feel not your own while it’s growing a life. This is your time to celebrate yourself and give thanks to your body.

Your maternity shoot can be whatever you want it to be, lots of skin showing portraits, a fully clothed shoot with your partner, or a family shoot where you happen to have a baby bump. We’ll shoot in your home or on location.

  • You’re thinking, ‘Yes, I want a shoot!’ You can either send me an enquiry, via the contact form. Or go right ahead and book in with my online booking calendar.

    My favourite time of the day to shoot is before sunset.

    Well have a conversation about what you're hoping for from your shoot, go over any concerns or worries you have, and brainstorm shoot locations. I know lots of private and beautiful spots all over Wellington. If you have a favourite outdoor place then let’s endeavour to shoot there.

  • Dresses that come in above your tummy will show of your beautiful curves, flowy or form fitting, both work well. Wrap dresses, loose open shirts, or long cardies & gowns are good if you want to be covered but able to show the skin of your beautiful belly.

    If we are shooting at the beach or river wear underwear you like, or a bikini if you want to get in the water. (Bring a towel!)

    Black is best to avoid as it will hide your curves from the front. I don't provide a wardrobe to select dresses from.

  • Around the 30 week mark. Nice big tummy, but still able to move around comfortably.

  • Your photos are delivered in an online, password protected gallery, in both big/high resolution and small/web res Jpeg files for sharing online. You can share, download the files, & order archival prints from your gallery.

    Your photos are all edited by me, and you'll get a mix of colour and black & white.

    All packages include all the digital files. My prices are the total cost, the shoot and all the high res files.

    You can expect your photos to be delivered in a maximum of 4 weeks from the shoot day.

  • Quick 30 minute Portrait Shoot | $500

  • 30+ high and web resolution, edited Jpegs.

  • 1 location.

  • 1 outfit, possibly 2.

  • Portraits of you on your own and also with your partner.

  • 60 minute Portrait Shoot | $750

  • 50+ high and web resolution, edited Jpegs.

  • 1, or 2 locations near to each other.

  • time for outfit changes.

  • A variety of portraits of you on your own and also with your partner. This shoot is suitable if you are combining a family shoot with a maternity shoot.

  • Your photos are delivered in an online, password protected gallery, live for 6 months. You can download them in high resolution and also web resolution.

  • You can expect your photos to be delivered within 4 weeks from your shoot.

  • Prints can be ordered from your gallery.

  • 25% booking fee. Prices are in $NZ and include 15% GST.
